A neuromodulator is a chemical substance that affects nerve impulses. Botox® is the most well-known neuromodulator, it contains small doses of the neurotoxin protein Botulinum toxin type A, which blocks muscle nerve activity temporarily. Originally used as a way to combat muscle spasms, Botulinum toxin type A is now widely used in medicine and cosmetics. The primary use of neuromodulators are to combat lines and wrinkles around the forehead and eyes. It works by temporarily blocking signals between muscles and nerves. As a result, the muscles no longer contract and wrinkles, in turn, soften. Neuromodulators are highly effective at treating forehead lines, glabellar lines between the brows, crow’s feet, and neck bands, which are all dynamic lines and wrinkles. These form as a result of repeated muscle contractions. Neuromodulators will not be as effective on static lines and wrinkles, which are caused by sun damage and gravity.
A combination of factors can cause facial lines. It’s not just about the cellular changes that may occur, or reduction of collagen, or damage caused by free radicals from the sun and the environment.
Repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, or raising eyebrows cause skin to furrow and fold, gradually resulting in the formation of facial lines. Botox ® works beneath the surface and temporarily reduces the underlying muscle activity that causes moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines in adults – to help them look visibly smoother.

PDO is a type of biodegradable suture that the beauty world borrowed from general surgery. The body absorbs PDO threads in 6-8 months after insertion, results can last for up to one year. Hair Rejuvenation with PRP
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a regenerative injection therapy for the treatment of thinning hair, non-autoimmune alopecia and male pattern baldness. Injections into the scalp are performed utilizing your platelets & growth factors, which are harvested from a simple blood draw. PRP reactivates the tissue repair cycle, the platelets & growth factors injected increase wound & tissue healing leading to regeneration & repair of tissues using the body’s own innate healing processes. The goal is to activate the hair growth cycle to improve thickness of hair & reduce thinning on the scalp. A numbing agent is used for comfort during injections.
